This policy explains what personal data Freedom and Success collects through this website, why it is collected, and what rights you have over it. It is written to meet Articles 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect, and why

When you send an enquiry

The contact form asks for your name, email address, company, the type of enquiry, and your message. We use this only to read and answer what you sent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a possible engagement, and Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us — in every other case.

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards so that we have a record of what was discussed. After that they are deleted.

When you request the handbook

The handbook page asks for your first name and email address so the document can be sent to you. Anything you type into the interactive exercise on that page stays in your browser unless you choose to email it to yourself. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your details.

When you browse the site

Our hosting provider records standard server log data — your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is needed to serve the site and to keep it secure. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are kept for a short period by the host and then discarded.

Analytics, only if you agree

With your consent we use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used:

• Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure which pages are visited and how people arrive.
• Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft Corporation, which records anonymised interaction data such as scrolling and clicks so we can see where a page is confusing.

Neither runs until you accept them in the cookie banner. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time on our Cookie Policy page, and nothing you have already done on the site is affected.

Who else sees your data

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is handled on our behalf by:

• Hostinger International Ltd — website hosting and email delivery.
• Google Ireland Limited — analytics and web fonts, only after consent.
• Microsoft Corporation — Clarity analytics, only after consent.

Google and Microsoft may process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and on Standard Contractual Clauses where the framework does not apply.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it (Article 15);
• have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16);
• have your data deleted (Article 17);
• restrict how we use it (Article 18);
• receive it in a portable format (Article 20);
• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21);
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was lawful before you withdrew it (Article 7(3)).

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For a controller based in Frankfurt that is:
